Henrik Aberg started his shipping life in 1984 as a trainee with Shipowners Torm A/S in Copenhagen. In 1986 he became Operations Manager for Shipowners Kosan Tankers (which was later sold to he Lauritzen group). After about 1 and a half year, his desire for an adventure in another country convinced him to leave his homeland and to start working in Spain. He began as an agency clerk managing to attend all type of tankers for a period of 4 years.
From 1991 he was fully dedicated to tanker chartering. During those years, he achieved the tutorship of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in UK, where he became member in 1993, after having passed the qualifying examinations. In addition he participated in chemical and LPG courses at the University for Advanced Maritime studies de Edinburgh.
In 2001, Henrik Aberg founded Spanmark Chartering. Spanmark continues with existing customers and with the usual emphasis on Petrochemicals/CPP and other oils.
Dagmara Miotk
Dagmara has a Master of Science in organization of seaborne trade from Gdynia Maritime Academy . After completion of her studies at Poland, she went to Spain and started to work in a well known Shipagent in Barcelona, where she was working almost for 10 years.
In this company she acquired experience in different types of ships including tankers. Her interest to try in shipbrokering made her decide to take up the challenge of joining Spanmark in July 2007.
Michelle Gómez
Michelle has always been interested in the shipping industry since she completed her studies in International Commerce here in Spain. Before finishing her studies, Michelle decided to have her first approach to this interesting world through the opportunity Spanmark had offered as a traineeship. After gaining valuable practical shipping experience she is ready for a new challenge at Spanmark by occupying a position in the post-fixture department along with other administrative tasks.
Maria Espinoza
Practically, Maria started her career in the shipping industry in Spanmark, since her profession, over 7 years, was focused in the hotel and tourism industry.
She started in Spanmark with the administrative tasks, but her interest in shipping, helped by her experience to manage to make good contacts with people all over the world, have been the main factors that have motivated her to become involved gradually in all operational matters related to ships.
At present, she is aiming for an improvement in her shipping knowledge and to specialize in the demurrage field.
